As part of my vExpert, I used to try some new software and applications that might be helpful to me personally or my organization. This time, I am focusing on backup. Especially personal backup.

This review is about AOMEI Backupper.

It is my first time dealing with AOMEI. but I found great potential from reading reviews about their products. Aomei Backupper 6 review: An easy, near all-in-one backup solution.

What I was looking for

I was looking for a solution for my personal backup. Both system and files.

Aomei backupper is a nearly all-in-one solution for all that I need. I will share some screenshots from my trial.

I will share some features I already tried or am interested in:

System Backup: Easily backup systems and make a copy of all contents in the system drive, including the Windows operating system, applications, and custom settings without interrupting your work.

File Backup: Quickly backup files to an external hard drive, including office files, photos, videos, music, and program files. Also, support backing up files on network or NAS.

You can also set an automated/scheduled backup: Set up a schedule to automatically backup system and data, especially great for users who want to create backups at a lesser frequency or have multiple backup schedules (e.g. daily, weekly, and monthly).

Another great, out-of-the-box feature, Sync. Sync is considered a kind of backup. I used to use other solutions for syncing my files to another storage and/or cloud storage. but I found that using a complete solution for both backup and sync is more powerful.

But, The most thing I liked most in AOMEI BAckuper is the elegant design. It is powerful and responsive. even when it runs in the background, it still works in silent mode.
